What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Don’t Tell The Bride (RTE2, 9.30pm)

The series that regularly has us watching through our fingers returns to RTÉ. Tonight, Dublin groom-to-be Noel O’Keefe plans an MMA-themed wedding for his fiancée, Wendy Leonard. Unfortunately, this is about as far away from the romantic wedding of her dreams as its possible to get. #donttellthebride

Date My Mum (Channel 4, 10pm)

Yes, you read that right. It’s sadly not a new dating show, but this ‘experimental documentary’ aims to find love for two single mums. The trouble is – their kids are in control of finding potential partners. #datemymum

The Works Presents (RTÉ One, 11.15pm)

Dublin film director Lenny Abrahamson’s terrific film Room has just been nominated for four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Directing – he chats to John Kelly about the road to his huge success.

Everyone’s talking about: Making A Murderer

Jena Friedman / YouTube

The drama surrounding the series rumbles on as prosecutor Ken Kratz admits “I was a d**k”. In a strange interview with comedian Jena Friedman, Kratz says he’s aware of how he was portrayed in the documentary:

Some of that was bravado that was necessary for the presentation of the case, but some of that was me. I think it’s important that people understand that I’m not that person anymore.

Even so, he doesn’t come across terribly well in the above interview.
